A little insight on Rocky's first visit.
Rocky, a handsome two and half year old German Shepherd, stopped by to stay with us today. Intelligent, good-natured and FAST are a couple of his traits!
When Rocky first arrived he was a little unsettled with his new surroundings but within an hour he started to get comfortable. As I sat in the living room and observed him I could see the transformation. Soon Rocky decided it was time to play and off he sprinted to the far end of the kennel building. As he reached the end he hit the brakes, spun around and started heading back. It is amazing to see (and a little intimidating) 95+ lbs of dog hurtling at you at something just below light speed! As I stood in the living room watching Rocky close the gap I feared the worst. But, at the last possible second, he veered away just as I was readying to call a good knee specialist. Then the game started again. Never once did he bump into me, much to my relief, but I swear he had a very mischievous grin on his face every time he blazed by! At that point I decided it was time to venture outdoors where he (and I) had a little more space.
We look forward to your next visit Rocky!
